So you’re yet another newbie blogger who is excited about making money with Google Adsense… Well, then I’ve got a good news and a bad news for you! Obviously, most of us prefer the good news first, so I’d like to tell you that you can indeed learn how to make money with Google Adsense without really breaking your head, or spending rest of your life slogging for 10-12hours! But, the bad news is that it’s NOT EASY to do so (forget about those fancy stories that tell you can do it in ONE DAY or anything unrealistic like few hours, days, or weeks!)


Of course, if it was that easy to earn money from internet, everybody in this world would have been a six figure blogger like Darren Rowse or Amit… Add to that the fact that not everybody can write well, and write a LOT! But, some more good news is that today there are tons of smart bloggers making at least 5-figure income blogging full time, so you can do it too!

How Much Can You Really Earn Through Google Adsense?

I’ve built tons of sites that make $0.01-$100/DAY with Google Adsense contextual advertising program… but let me tell you something first! If you’ve been into this business for long enough, you’d know that it easily takes 5-6months to get a site to the level when it starts making > $100/month… Even getting it to > $300/month easily takes 10-12months of HARD WORK! (we’re talking about ethical SEO and REAL search engine traffic!)… If you’re trying to do it for the first time, it’d easily take 6months time to get your first $100 pay check from Google Adsense revenues! However, you may be able to monetize from your blog using other sources like writing sponsored reviews, writing guest posts for others, selling text-link ads, ad space on homepage, or through affiliate marketing too.

Why Choice of Right Niche is Critical

To be able to make good money with AdSense, it’s not about just traffic levels, but rather about the niche you choose, because if CTR is poor, even with 10k visitors, you site won’t generate 30k while in good niches it’d even generate $40-50/day with 10k unique visits… Having said all this, it’s important to understand that if someone experienced like me, tries to do it, success is guaranteed, but the initial investment needs to come from your side!

How Much Are Such Sites Worth?

Usually, a website sells easily for 10-15 x its net monthly revenues so you can sell a site easily for > $10k that makes $600-700/month through Adsense, in case there aren’t any significant monthly maintenance costs.

Remember, ethical SEO and making money with Google AdSense – both are games of real patience and dogged determination – no matter how hard you work initially, you’ll see the traffic rising, but you WONT be making > $1/day to begin with, during the first 2-3months or so… Slowly it’d grow to > $100 within 3-4months, and you can touch $800-1000 mark within 7-8 months of time.

If you have a network of sites, it’s easier to grow the newer blogs/sites faster by giving back-links from other sites in the same niche. Add to that the experience that you gain after making a successful website that turns into a money making machine!

How Much Does It Cost to Build Such Websites?

It’d easily involve initial investment of $2000-3000/month if you want to do it WITHIN 6months… If you’re an investor, it’s quite fair since you can actually sell ANY SITE for >$10k EASILY if it REALLY MAKES $1000/month with Adsense.
